I chose Amy because I had known her for several years and I had followed her social media and saw what a great job she did. I saw other people praising her for her good work in helping them purchase a home or sell their home.
I chose Amy as my realtor because I knew she would be patient with me and not pressure me to purchase the first house I looked at.
Amy probably took me to see about a dozen or more houses in the course of 5 years. I even met her at her office in early 2018 to put an offer in on a home and ultimately backed out. She never made me feel like I wasted her time. Instead she was understanding that my gut told me that house was not for me.
The last house I looked at, I absolutely fell in love with. As I was standing in the kitchen watching my son play on the climbing tree in the back yard I immediately saw my future in that house. I began to tear up and told her, "this is it, this is our home."
The best part about the buying experience was Amy explaining everything to me about each home. She had so much knowledge about the houses and she was honest with me. She also made me laugh along the way and helped me with my son so I could really look (He's a wild one).
My advice for someone purchasing would be to always use your gut feeling and don't be in a rush to purchase. I will always suggest Amy as realtor to my friends and family. She is beyond patient and understanding and that is what a home buyer needs.
